Sheet cold-rolled steel with a width of 500 mm and more is manufactured with a thickness of 0.35 - 5 mm in sheets, with a thickness of 0.35 - 3.5 mm - in rolls.
Sheets less than 3mm have a cutting of 1250 * 2500, more than 4mm inclusive - 1500 * 6000.

It is used for cold stamping and manufacturing of products with high surface quality, as well as in construction, engineering, instrument making, shipbuilding, aircraft building, electric power industry, for the manufacture of agricultural machinery. In the construction of cold-rolled sheet is used when tightening structures of special strength. Is often used in the processing of industry- sheet x / k manufactured sheet and galvanized sheet metal coated , perforated metal sheet , profiled. Production of cold rolled sheet:
By means of hot rolling, a roll is made, then a process of pickling a hot-rolled steel sheet, where special chemicals act on the metal, takes place. Later, the metal is rolled under high pressure in a cold rolling mill and either left a sheet or formed into a roll. If necessary, to give the sheet certain physical properties, it is also subjected to compression. Such technology of manufacturing cold-rolled metal sheets allows to obtain a thinner layer with high performance properties, because of this, cold-rolled sheet is more expensive than hot-rolled sheet, it is characterized by plasticity and a smoother surface.
